Con esto, los equipos mexicanos ya suman tres derrotas en la Leagues Cup. En la primera edición en 2023, Guadalajara quedó eliminado en la Fase de Grupos tras dos derrotas, ante el Cincinnati FC y el Sporting Kansas City. El próximo partido para el equipo de Fernando Gago será contra el LA Galaxy, el domingo 4 de agosto, en el Dignity Health Sports Park, casa de los angelinos.
